OUR STORY

Button Rock Bakery Established December 2013

Button Rock Bakery is an artisan bakery that offers a wide selection of breakfast pastries, bread, individual desserts, salads, sandwiches and take and bake meal options as well as gluten free and vegan items. We offer delicious and artistic custom cakes, wedding cakes, and a large selection of cakes we keep on hand called our Signature Cakes. The bakery was originally established in Lyons, CO in 2013 and named after a local preserve and reservoir. Jamie and Tony relocated the bakery in 2017 to Lafayette to expand their customer base and commercial account offerings. Jamie and her team of pastry chefs all have extensive culinary backgrounds and have attending a wide variety of top culinary schools in the United States. Their passion and talents translate to a delicious selection of desserts and cakes that change with the seasons to keep you coming back for more. We are happy to do custom orders for any items that you cannot find in our store as well, just give us at least 48 hours notice for your special orders.

Robyn Bruxvoort

Bakery Manager, Cake Artist

Robyn graduated from Colorado Institute of Art and majored in Baking and Pastry. She has enjoyed baking and cake design from the time she was 20 years old. Robyn is a loving wife and mother of two. Robyn has loved working for Button Rock Bakery for the past year because of our creative environment and the joy she can bring to the community. We love Robyn for her passion, willingness to do whatever the team needs, and joy in saving the day.

Anna Hill

Cake Artist

Anna Graduated from Johnson and Wales in 2014 with an Associates in Baking and Pastry. Anna started her internship with Indulge Bakery in 2013 and in January 2017 she began her career at Button Rock Bakery. Anna is an essential team player at Button Rock Bakery. Anna’s genuine love for people, the environment here at Button Rock, and every product we produce fuels her fire and love for what she does.

Tina Neal

Baker

Tina graduated from Auguste Escoffier in 2015 with a Degree in Baking and Pastry. Tina had a career as a nail technician before she pursued her real passion as a pastry chef. Tina is a loving and dedicated wife and mother. She has thoroughly enjoyed the environment we have created here at Button Rock Bakery and adds her love to everything she bakes.

Tanya Gardner

Cake Artist

Tanya received her undergrad from Denver University in Hotel and Resort Tour Management and Bachelor of Science in Business Administration. She then attended The Culinary Institute of America. She has enjoyed being a pastry chef for the last 15 years. Tanya is a dedicated wife and mother of two. She loves working in an environment where everyone is pursuing their passion. Tanya’s passion, customer service and her sense of humor fills an imperative role in the Button Rock Family.

Please note that we are closed on July 4th, Thanksgiving, Christmas Day, and New Years Day.

 

Button Rock is part of a building called the District. Our space is a yellow building facing the front of the building (it’s a yellow metal shipping container) right next to Krishna Groceries, Herbal Wellness, and Jax Ranch and Home.

 

Major intersection near us is 287 and South Boulder Rd. We are southeast of it.
